How to Submit a Fan Cutout Photo
Thank you for your interest in purchasing a Navy Fan Cutout! Though we can’t all be together cheering on our favorite Midshipmen just yet, we are excited to be able to offer you this opportunity to still be represented in the stands! If you haven't purchased your Navy Fan Cutout yet, please click

eadlines to be aware of:
1) To have your cutout in place by the Patriot League basketball home opener on Saturday, January 2nd 2021 please submit your order and photo(s) by December 21, 2020.
2) To have your cutout in place for the Lehigh wrestling match on Saturday, January 16th please submit your photo(s) by Friday, January 8th.
3) To have your cutout in place for the Navy Men's Basketball game vs. Army please submit your photo(s) by January 15, 2021.
4) The final deadline to purchase to have your cutout in place for wrestling is Friday, January 21st.
5) The final deadline to purchase your fan cutout (which will ensure it is up for the Women's basketball game vs. Army) is February 12, 2021.
Fan Cutout Photo Guidelines and Tips
Apparel:
- Wear Navy gear! Navy colors and jerseys are highly encouraged, but make sure you have a different color background than your shirt color otherwise they will blend together.
- No other NCAA team logos, marks or brands are allowed and will not be approved.
- Group shots are allowed but we highly encourage individual shots as group shots have a much higher chance of cutting someone off.
- If you wear a hat, make sure it's not too low or it will create a shadow on your face.
- If you wear glasses, try to avoid using a flash to avoid a glare.
Taking the Picture:
- It is recommended someone else takes your picture for your cutout, this way you can avoid having your arms cutoff in the picture.
- Smart phones will work for taking the picture.
- We recommend keeping your arms low, anything wider than your shoulders will be cropped when the cutout is printed.
- Take the photo in vertical (portrait) format.
- Make sure the photo is not blurry or distorted, it will be printed the way it was submitted.
Fan Cutout Class Competition
USNA Alumni, there is also a class competition involved! In addition to class bragging rights, the winning class will also receive discounted block of tickets for the 2022 Army-Navy Basketball double header!
Be sure to input your class year in the additional comments field at checkout for your order to count towards the class competition.
Fan Cutout FAQ
Can I choose my seat location for my cutout?
No, fan cutouts will be placed randomly. Special requests to be placed next to someone not in your same order or in particular seat locations will not be accepted.
Is my cutout for basketball and wrestling?
Yes, fan cutouts will be placed in Alumni Hall for both men's and women's basketball home games, as well as home wrestling matches. There
may be additional events in Alumni Hall in which your cutout may remain.
Will my cutout be in the same seat location for every game?
Since Alumni Hall is a multipurpose facility there is a chance the cutouts will need to be moved at some point during the season to accommodate another event the facility is hosting. For that reason we can not guarantee your cutout will be in the same location each game.
Will my cutout be on TV/Streaming?
Seeing your cutout on any TV/Streaming broadcast is not guaranteed, but the cutouts will be placed in highly visible areas of Alumni Hall based on volume and availability.
Can I get my cutout at the end of the season?
Yes, you may choose the option to have your cutout shipped at the end of the season for an additional $25 when purchasing your cutout. For those who do not purchase a shipping option, Navy Athletics is hoping to host a pick-up event in Annapolis in Spring 2021. Dates, times, and locations are TBD and might be cancelled altogether depending on current Covid-19 regulations.
How do I submit my photo?

Will you contact me after I submit my photo?
We will only contact you if your photo is not approved.
Can I change my mind on my photo if I already submitted it?
No, the first approved photo submitted is final.
Can I request a refund for my cutout?
No, all fan cutouts are final including a delayed or canceled season, change in venue or damages to cutouts or lost cutouts.
Can I have a cutout made for my pet(s)?
Absolutely! We love our furry Navy fans too!
What is the deadline to order?
To maximize the chance for your fan cutout to be installed by the Patriot League home opener on Saturday, January 2nd, please submit your order and photo by December 21st. The deadline to have your cutout installed for the Men’s Basketball game vs. Army is January 15
. The deadline to purchase your cutout for navy wrestling is Friday, January 21st and the final deadline to purchase your cutout is February 12
th in order to have it in attendance for the Women’s Basketball game vs. Army at the end of the season.
What are the dimensions of the fan cutout?
Approximately 32" (H) x 17" (W).
What if the season gets delayed, canceled, or played elsewhere?
All fan cutouts are final, and no refunds will be issued.

Fan Cutout Terms and Conditions:
- Navy Athletics reserves the right to reject any photo for any reason. If your photo is rejected, Navy Athletics will contact you for a new photo.
- No political statements, logos, slogans or other political content.
- No inappropriate or offensive photos including signs, symbols or otherwise.
- No commercial identification or advertising, including corporate or company logos, marks, names, and brands or any other commercial identifying affiliation of any kind, including on the apparel in the photo and in the background.
- No apparel, logos, marks, names or brands of any other NCAA sports teams will be approved.
