Tipping Off
• Navy improved its record to 4-1 in its last five games with an 81-66 victory over Holy Cross Wednesday night in Alumni Hall.  It was Navy's first league game of the season to be decided by double digits.

Evan Wieck joined David Robinson and Kevin Sinnett as the only Mids to not miss a shot from the floor while taking at least 10 field goal attempts.  Wieck was 10-10 from the field –– and 4-4 from the foul line –– against the Crusaders.  He is shooting 87.5 percent (28-32) from the floor over the last three games.

Cam Davis ran his streak of scoring in double figures to 11 games in a row with a 15-point effort Wednesday.  He is averaging 18.6 points a game during this span.

• Three of Loyola's last six losses have been decided by a total of six points.

• The home team in the Navy-Loyola series has won the last five games, with each of those games decided by single digits and an average of 6.0 points a game.  This includes wins for the Greyhounds over the Mids in Baltimore in 2018 and '19, with both coming by nine points.
