Gaddy Selected For East-West Shrine Game

ANNAPOLIS, Md.-Navy senior wide receiver Jeff Gaddy (Charlotte, N.C.) has been selected to play in the 77th Annual East-West Shrine Game, which will take place Jan. 12 at Pac Bell Park in San Francisco, Calif. The game is televised to a national television audience by ESPN. Kickoff is 1:30 p.m. (EST). The East-West Shrine game is considered the premier all-star football game, as NFL scouts and player personnel directors select players for the game.

Gaddy is the 18th Navy player to be selected for the game and the first since 1994 when tight end Kevin Hickman was invited to play.

Gaddy led Navy in catches and receiving yards in his first year at wide receiver after playing three seasons at cornerback. Gaddy ended his senior campaign with a team-high 24 catches for a team-high 365 yards. He averaged 15.2 yards per catch and two touchdowns.
