ANNAPOLIS, Md.-Naval Academy Director of Athletics Chet Gladchuk announced Wednesday that the Naval Academy has agreed to a three-year contract extension with CBS to air the Navy-Notre Dame game. CBS will air the 2002 game in Baltimore, the 2004 game at the Meadowlands and the 2006 game at a site to be determined.

"Navy and CBS have enjoyed a terrific partnership through the years with the Notre Dame and Army games and we are very pleased that our partnership will continue for many years to come," said Gladchuk. "This is an exciting time for the Naval Academy football program with Paul Johnson coming on board as our new head coach and being able to guarantee a national television audience the next three times the Irish come East adds to the excitement."

"CBS is thrilled to renew our commitment to one of the most venerable rivalries in sports," said Mike Aresco, Senior Vice President for Programming at CBS Sports.
