On tonight's situational scrimmage-"We went through a lot of thinking situations, a lot of things that can happen in a game. We tried to put them through a kick after a safety, punting out of our own end zone, taking a safety, overtime situations. It was great for everybody to see the different things that can happen. It made everybody concentrate on the sidelines, because they never knew what was going to happen next. We do this every year and it is something that we have done since I have been in coaching.

On The Quarterbacks-"Ed (Malinowski) is capable of going in and moving the team. He has had a great preseason. Craig has come a long ways as well. Both of them are very capable of being our starting quarterback. Right now, if we made a decision right now, it would probably be Craig and then see how it goes. Craig has got some things that give him the opportunity to be just a little bit ahead of Eddie. Ed has the experience is more physical and is a great leader, Craig may have a step on him speed wise and throwing wise they are very comparable."

On Candeto-"He is a fine player. He was the 6A Player of the Year in the state of Florida and when you're the 6A Player of the Year in Florida, your pretty good. Had he been two inches taller, we probably wouldn't have him. We were also one of the only schools that was recruiting him that was going to allow him to play baseball as well as football."
