Jaskowiak And Moody Named First-Team Academic All-District

ANNAPOLIS, Md.-Navy senior offensive linemen Derek Jaskowiak (Chesterfield, Mo.) and Grant Moody (Eureka, Kan.) have been named to the 2002 District 2 All-Academic First Team. With their first-team selections, Moody and Jaskowiak are eligible for Academic All-American honors.

Moody, who carries a 3.93 GPA in Quantitative Economics, has started all but one game at left guard for the Midshipmen while Jaskowiak, who carries a 3.67 GPA in Systems Engineering, has started every game at left tackle.

Navy, 1-9, travels to Winston-Salem, N.C., on Saturday to take on Wake Forest in a 3:30 p.m. contest.
