Jaskowiak Selected For 2003 Hula Bowl All-Star Game

MAUI, Hawaii-Navy senior offensive tackle Derek Jaskowiak (Sr./Chesterfield, Mo.) has been selected to play in the 2003 Hula Bowl All-Star game, which will take place Feb. 1 in Maui. The game will air live on ESPN at 9 p.m. and is part of the Hula Bowl Maui and NFL Pro Bowl All-Star football weekend.

Jaskowiak anchored an offensive line that helped pave the way for the nation's third best ground game (270.75 yards per contest).

Jaskowiak is the 23rd Navy player to be selected for the game and the seventh in the last seven years. Jaskowiak is just the fifth offensive lineman in school history to be selected for the game, joining Terrence Anderson (1999), Blaine Kindler (1998), Rick Bott (1979) and Tom Lynch (1964).
