Skaggs Has Strong Showing At East-West Shrine Game

ANNAPOLIS, Md.-Navy senior punter John Skaggs (Cantonment, Fla.) had a strong showing at Saturday's East-West Shrine all-star football game. Skaggs, punting for the East team, averaged 43.8 yards on his five punts with a long of 51. The West defeated the East, 28-7. Skaggs will have one more chance to display his skills to the NFL scouts, as he will compete in the Gridiron Classic, Saturday, Jan. 31 in Orlando, Fla.
