Baseball to Hold Alumni Game on October 29

Annapolis, Md. - The Navy baseball team will hold an alumni game Friday, Oct. 29 at 3 p.m., at Max Bishop Stadium.
More than 30 former Navy baseball players are scheduled to play, including seniors from the 2004 team, Craig Candeto, Andy Froistad, Marcus Craig and team captain Dean Farmer. The game will feature only alumni and following the contest a social will be held at the stadium.
"We want this game to be an annual event," head coach Steve Whitmyer said. "We want to revitalize alumni interest in the program, because Navy baseball has a rich tradition and history. We are excited to welcome them back."

The current Navy baseball team is in the middle of fall practice as it prepares for the 2005 season. Fall practice will conclude on Oct. 24.
