Limited Number Of Tickets Available For Army-Navy Game
?PHILADELPHIA, Pa.--With less than one month left until the legendary Army-Navy Game on December 4th at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field, a limited number of tickets to the game are being made available for public sale beginning Friday (November 12, 2004). Tickets are $50 each and are available at all Philadelphia area Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 215-336-2000.? ?
This year's Army-Navy football game marks the 105th edition of the interservice rivalry, and the 78th game to be played in Philadelphia. The kick off at Lincoln Financial Field is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and the game will be televised nationally by CBS and carried worldwide by Westwood One and Armed Forces Radio. ? ?
"We are delighted to be able to release a limited number of tickets for this year's Army-Navy Game," said Larry Needle, executive director of Philadelphia Sports Congress. "This will be our tenth consecutive sellout, so we are thrilled that some fans from the Philadelphia area will have a chance to witness this amazing spectacle."
The Philadelphia Sports Congress (PSC), a division of the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, seeks to attract major sporting events and conventions to the Philadelphia area. PSC produces the Army/Navy Game for the City of Philadelphia in conjunction with the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy and the Philadelphia Eagles. Following a national bid process to host the Army/Navy Game, Philadelphia will host the 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009 games, in addition to this year's game. Philadelphia is the Land of the Free, Home of the Game.?
