Athlon Picks The MIds 60th In The Country

ANNAPOLIS, Md.-The Navy football team was ranked as the 60th best team in the country (out of 117) by Athlon Sports in their preseason football publication.
Athlon projects six wins for the Midshipmen (Duke, Northeastern, Rice, Delaware, Tulane and Army) and one loss (Notre Dame). They call the Tulsa, Vanderbilt, Air Force and Rutgers games toss-ups.

Notre Dame is the highest rated Athlon team on Navy's schedule coming in at #37. Vanderbilt is #54, Tulsa #57, Rutgers #61, Rice #72, Air Force #78, Duke #89, Tulane #103 and Army #116. Athlon does not rank the I-AA teams (Delaware and Northeastern).
