Navy Ranked 85th In The Country By Collegefootballnews.com

ANNAPOLIS, Md.--CollegeFootbalLNews.com ranks The Navy football team 85th out of 117 teams in its annual preseason rankings. The online college football site projects the Mids to go 7-4 in 2004.

The only three opponents on Navy's schedule ranked higher than the Midshipmen are Notre Dame (41st), Tulane (74th) and Rutgers (80th). Teams ranked lower include Duke (87th), Vanderbilt (88th), Tulsa (93rd), Rice (94th), Air Force (106th) and Army (107th). I-AA opponents Delaware and Northeastern were not ranked.
