Anne Arundel County Day Set For Football Season Opener

ANNAPOLIS, Md.-Navy's season opening football game against Duke on Saturday, Sept. 4 will be Anne Arundel County Day at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.

Anne Arundel County residents can purchase tickets for $15 each in advance of game day by calling 410/293-2700 x140 or by stopping by the Navy Ticket Office in Ricketts Hall (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.).

The Mids are coming off an 8-5 season that saw Navy capture the Commander-In-Chief's Trophy for the first time since 1981 and participate in a bowl game (Houston) for the first time since 1996.
