Navy Receives Vote In Associated Press Top 25 Poll
ANNAPOLIS, Md.-The Navy football team, off to a 4-0 start for the first time since 1979, received a vote in the Associated Press Top 25 poll released this evening. It's the first time Navy has received a vote in the poll since 1996.
Navy is tied with Houston Bowl foe Texas Tech for 35th in total points in the poll. Navy was last ranked Oct. 22, 1979, when the 6-0 Midshipmen rose as high as 17th in the polls.
Navy travels to Colorado Springs to take on rival Air Force Thursday night in a game that will be televised nationally by ESPN. Air time is 7 p.m. EST with the game kicking off at 7:45 EST.
