INHD and CSTV: College Sports Television Announce Exclusive High-Definition Agreement

NEW YORK, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- INHD, cable's most widely distributed all high-definition network, has teamed up with CSTV: College Sports Television, (http://www.collegesports.com) to broadcast numerous top collegiate sports telecasts live, in high definition, starting with the Brigham Young at Stanford college football match-up Saturday, September 11, 2004 from Palo Alto, CA (10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT). The announcement was made by Senior Vice President of Programming of iN DEMAND Networks, David Asch and Co- Founder and Executive Vice President of CSTV, Chris Bevilacqua.
The agreement provides INHD the right to air the events in high definition, while CSTV will simultaneously carry the standard definition broadcasts. The co-produced telecasts will include regular season football, basketball, ice hockey, baseball, volleyball, soccer, water polo and swimming events, as well select conference tournaments and NCAA National Championships. Under the agreement, INHD has also acquired rights for encore presentations. This is the second consecutive year INHD will produce live college sports with CSTV.
The following INHD and CSTV co-produced telecasts will be a part of the
2004-2005 season:

* 10/8 - (Men's Ice Hockey) North Dakota @ Maine
* 11/12 - (Men's Ice Hockey) Yale @ Harvard
* 11/14 - (Soccer) Big Ten Men's Championship
* 11/19 - (Men's Basketball) 2004 Pete Newell Challenge:
* North Carolina vs. Santa Clara
* Stanford vs. San Francisco
* 11/20 - (Football) Rutgers @ Navy
* 12/5 - (Water Polo) NCAA Division I Men's Water Polo Championships
