Q. Can you talk a little bit about what this senior class has meant?

A. I think they've had a huge part in hopefully getting the program turned around somewhat. The first year wasn't very good for them as freshmen but if we can finish this season the last three years will have been much better in helping establish the program.

Q. Do you feel like it's important for them to get to six or seven wins and get to a bowl game to keep the momentum going.

A. Yes, I think it's very important that we finish with a winning season and do those kinds of things to keep the thing going.

Q. Does the fact that Temple doesn't have a win scare you at all?

A. Yeah it does. I'm the kind of person that is scared no matter what, whether they are 10-0 or 0-10. I don't look at the record I just look at the players and I know they have some talented players. They are big and they run well. They are very talented. When you are at Navy you have to get ready for everyone. I guarantee you that when the two teams run on the field and if somebody didn't know who was who and they could pick which team would win they wouldn't pick us.

Q. That said you are in somewhat of a no-win position. Fans in general see a 27-point favorite and that Temple is 0-10 and you are at home they figure there is no way you can lose this game.

A. I don't worry about what the fans think. I just worry about trying to win the game. If we can win the game 3-2 I'll be happy. I don't worry about that other stuff. If I did I wouldn't be here, I would be in Vegas.

Q. But at the same time it isn't a good game if you lose. It wouldn't look good.

A. It doesn't look good when you lose any game. I didn't think we looked too good last Saturday when we lost. I didn't feel any better because Notre Dame was good. All of them are the same to me.
