Q. How long have you been here?

A. About three hours.

Q. How do you like it so far?

A. It's a little warmer than where we left. It's great.

Q. Everybody here?

A. Yeah, everybody that was in the travel party.

Q. How many players do you have with you?

A. We brought some injured guys and counting them we brought 103.

Q. Do you guys usually bring that many to a bowl game?

A. We usually take 100.

Q. No new injuries?

A. No. Nobody got hurt on the plane.

Q. How well do you know Sonny Lubick?

A. I know Sonny a little bit, not well, but I know him a little bit. I think he came to Colorado State right about the time I left Hawaii. He might have been there for a year or so. I've known who he was, we just don't know each other well.

Q. What do you know other than his reputation?

A. I know that he's a good football coach. They are going to be physical and hard-nosed. He has a reputation of being a great defensive coach and motivator. He's had some really good teams at Colorado State. I've got a lot of respect for him.

Q. Given the strong military presence here and given the fact that you've already sold your allotment of tickets do you expect the bowl game to be almost like a home game?

A. I would hope that we will have a good crowd. I'm sure that Colorado State will be well represented too. We've been very fortunate in that our fans have given us great support the last three years. I would expect us to have a good practice.

Q. How was practice?

A. It was good. I thought it was pretty good considering we just got off the plane. It wasn't bad at all.

Q. Can you talk about Adam Ballard and how he's come along the last couple of games?

A. He's played well the last two games. It's probably a combination of a lot of things. He's played well, the offensive line has done a nice job and Lamar has done a nice job of reading and giving him the ball when he's supposed to get it.
