Navy Ranked 72nd By Lindy's College Football Preseason Magazine
ANNAPOLIS, Md.-Lindy's preseason football publication ranks Navy 72nd in the country entering the 2005 campaign. Only three schools on Navy's schedule rank ahead of the Midshipmen-Notre Dame (40), Maryland (44) and Rutgers (66).
The Mids are ranked ahead of Air Force (74), Tulane (76), Stanford (88), Rice (90), Duke (92), Temple (100), Kent State (104) and Army (107).
The Mids open up the 2005 campaign on Sept. 3 against Maryland in a 6 p.m. contest at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The game will be televised nationally by CSTV.
