ANNAPOLIS, Md.-The 2005 Navy football team will visit the White House on Tuesday, April 25 for a 1:50 p.m. ceremony with President George W. Bush. The team will be honored for winning the Commander-In-Chief's Trophy for the thirdconsecutive year.

Navy was victorious over Air Force (27-24) and Army (42-23) to win the CIC trophy outright three-straight years for the first time in school history.

The Mids finished the year with an 8-4 record and a school record third-straight bowl appearance, where the Mids whipped Colorado State, 51-30, in the Poinsettia Bowl giving the Mids back-to-back bowl wins for the first time in school history.
