BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Emani Decquir closed out the weekend at the Wilson / ITA Atlantic Regional Championships on an impressive note, winning her lone consolation match on Saturday morning. The win helped Decquir conclude the fall season with a 7-3 record.

Decquir defeated West Virginia senior Stephanie LaFortune, 3-6, 6-2, 10-8, to end the tournament with a 1-1 record.

"I thought Emani had an up-and-down day, but she was able to take control of her opportunities and come away with an impressive win," said Navy head coach Keith Puryear. "This tournament really helped us gain some experience. We learned a lot about ourselves and we are now ready for the spring season."

The tournament concludes Navy's fall season. It will begin the spring season on Jan. 30, against Saint Francis (Pa.), in Annapolis.
