GRANVILLE, Ohio - The 14th-ranked Navy squash team posted 9-0 victories against 23rd-ranked Denison, 41st-ranked Kenyon and 26th-ranked Northwestern on Friday and Saturday at the Denison Tournament to improve its unblemished record on the year to 6-0.

The Midshipmen won 81 of their 85 individual games over the two days, highlighted by three three-game sweeps by five of their own.

Ben Mantica (Sr./Binghamton, N.Y.), the 81st-ranked player in the nation, posted a sweep at the No. 3 spot in the first-two matches before doing the same at the No. 2 position against Northwestern. Brad Seidel (Jr./Toledo, Ohio) delivered three-game wins at the No. 4 position against Denison and Kenyon prior to a three-game win at the No. 3 spot against Northwestern, while teammate Justin Langan (Sr./St. Louis, Mo.) followed suit between the No. 5 and No. 4 slots.

Billy Abrams (Fr./Wilmington, Del.) made his collegiate debut with three three-game victories, two at the No. 7 spot and one at the No. 6 slot, and Tommy McNamara (Jr./New York, N.Y.) also needed only nine games to post three match triumphs between the No. 9 and No. 8 positions.

Team captain Nils Mattsson (Sr./Spring House, Pa.), the 29th-ranked player in the country, made his season debut with three-game victories at the No. 1 position against Denison and Kenyon.

Allan Lutz (Jr./McLean, Va.), the nation's 63rd-ranked competitor, posted three-game sweeps at the No. 2 spot before needing four games to knock off Northwestern's Jay Dalal in the No. 1 match on Saturday.

The Midshipmen will close out their action at the Denison Tournament tomorrow when they take on ninth-ranked Western Ontario at 10 a.m.
