ANNAPOLIS, Md.--The 2009 Navy football banquet will take place Friday, Feb. 19 at Alumni Hall. Tickets are $65 per person and must be purchased in advance at www.navysports.com , by calling 1-800-US4-NAVY or at the Ricketts Hall Box Office. The deadline to purchase tickets is Monday, Feb. 1. The banquet starts at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails in the Bo Coppedge Room and on the mezzanine level of Alumni Hall. Dinner will be served at 7:15 p.m. in the main arena.

The 2009 Navy football season was a season to remember for the Midshipmen. Navy tied a school record for wins with 10, won a school-record seventh-consecutive Commander-In-Chief's Trophy, appeared in a school-record seventh-consecutive bowl game and ran its winning streak against the other two Service Academies to an amazing 15-straight.

Included among Navy's 10 wins was a 16-13 overtime victory over Air Force, a 23-21 victory over 19th ranked Notre Dame in South Bend, a 17-3 win over Army and a 35-13 thrashing of Missouri in the Texas Bowl.

The senior class finished with a 35-18 career record, which is tied for the second most wins by a class in school history, and became the first class since the Class of 1964 to beat Notre Dame twice in their careers.
