The Navy football team (8-3) received votes in the latest Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches Poll.

The Mids received 11 voting points in the Associated Press Poll, which puts the Mids 29th.  Brett McMurphy of AOL Fanhouse (national college football writer) ranked the Mids 21st, Travis Haney of the Charleston Post and Courier (South Carolina beat writer) and Cecil Hurt of the Tuscaloosa News (columnist covering Alabama) ranked the Mids 24th and Keith Sargeant of the Home News Tribune (Rutgers beat writer) and Sal Interdonato of the Times-Herald Record (Army beat writer) ranked the Mids 25th.

Navy received two voting points in the coaches poll, which puts the Mids 32nd.  Art Briles of Baylor and Dan Mullen of Mississippi State ranked the Mids 25th.
