New York, N.Y. - The 15th-ranked Navy squash team (17-4) picked up an 8-1 win over No. 27 Columbia (5-2) at the Street Squash facility in New York City on Friday evening. The Mids have now won four of their last five matches.

No. 89 Allan Lutz (McLean, Va.) earned a hard-fought win at No. 1 over Graham Maio, 11-5, 11-7, 9-11, 6-11, 11-5. The senior is now 17-3 on the season and has 90 career wins.

Sophomore Hunter Bouchard (Greenville, Del.) picked up a four-set win at No. 3, defeating Tony Zou, 13-11, 11-13, 11-3, 11-9, to move to 16-3 on the season.

No. 112 Hunter Beck (Lafayette Hill, Pa.) improved to 16-3 on the year with an 11-8, 11-7, 11-6 win over Theo Buchsbaum in the No. 4 slot.

Sophomore John Richey (West Hartford, Conn.) had a very competitive match at No. 5 with Andrew Tan (11-7, 9-11, 16-14, 11-8) and senior Tommy McNamara (New York, N.Y.) got a three-set win over Alec Goldberg at No. 6 while playing in his hometown.

Senior Aidan Crofton (Laverock, Pa.), sophomore David Koenig (Cincinnati, Ohio) and sophomore Clayton Young (River Forest, Ill.) were all victorious in the 7-9 positions.

Navy will take on No. 2 Yale and No. 32 MIT in New Haven, Conn. on Saturday.
