New Haven, Conn. - The No. 15 Navy men's squash team (19-5) blanked No. 24 Colby, 9-0, on Sunday morning to wrap up the weekend's action in New Haven, Conn. With the win, Navy concluded its weekend with a 3-1 mark.

"It was a hard-fought match today," head coach Craig Dawson said. "A lot of our guys had to play really well to come from behind and win."

One of those players was sophomore Hunter Bouchard (Greenville, Del.) at the No. 3 spot. Bouchard was down 2-1 in the match, but rallied to dominate the last two games for a 3-2 win over Alex Fulton (8-11, 12-10, 7-11, 11-2, 11-3).

Another competitive match for Navy came at the No. 7 slot with sophomore David Koenig (Cincinnati, Ohio). Koenig and Steve Carroll alternated the first four sets (11-7, 8-11, 11-8, 9-11) before Koenig eventually claimed the fifth set, 12-10.

Senior Allan Lutz picked up a win at No. 1 (McLean, Va.) over a higher-ranked opponent in No. 86 Harry Smith in four sets, 11-9, 7-11, 11-8, 14-12. Lutz is ranked No. 89 in the country and is now tied with Nils Mattson for the most career wins in the Craig Dawson era with 92. Lutz is a team-best 19-4 on the year, while playing exclusively in the No. 1 slot.

Sophomore Billy Abrams (Wilmington, Del.) earned a four-set win at No. 2, outlasting Will Sullivan, 11-4, 11-9, 6-11, 14-12. Sophomore John Richey (West Hartford, Conn.) was victorious at No. 4, beating Nat Cooper in straight-sets, 11-8, 11-6, 11-9.

Senior Tommy McNamara won in four sets at No. 5 over Trey Simpson (11-7, 11-9, 8-11, 11-8) and senior Aidan Crofton beat William Hochman at No. 6, 11-7, 15-13, 11-3.

Sophomore Clayton Young (River Forest, Ill.) and junior John Tracey (Owings Mills, Md.) picked up wins at the No. 8 and No. 9 positions, respectively. Young beat Pete Gabranski , 11-7, 11-5, 11-8 and Tracey defeated Darryl Soto, 11-6, 11-3, 11-5

The Mids will host Lafayette, Lehigh, Bucknell and Colgate next weekend.
