ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy men's swimming and diving season came to an end Saturday with Mark Meyer (Jr., Bethesda, Md.) and Justin Vagts (So., Crofton, Md.) competing at the NCAA Championship in Minneapolis, Minn.
Meyer posted a time of 1:47.10 to place 29th in the trial heats of the 200 butterfly, while Vagts placed 25th in the 1650 freestyle with a clocking of 15:04.11.
"It is thrilling to be competing at the national championship for a third straight year," said Navy head coach Bill Roberts. "We are not yet where we want to be as a program, but we are looking forward to finding a way to get to that level next year."
