ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy lightweight rowing team will host Penn in its final home race of the season on Saturday morning on the Severn River. Saturday's action will begin with the first varsity race at 7 a.m.
About The Callow Cup
The race for the Callow Cup began in 1955 and is presented to the winner of the first varsity race between Navy and Penn. The trophy is Named after Russell "Rusty" Callow, who coached at both Navy and Penn.
Navy holds the all-time advantage in the Callow Cup competition as it leads Penn, 29-26. Navy has dominated the race in recent years as it has claimed the cup in each of the last 10 seasons.

Last Year's Race for the Callow Cup
Navy topped Penn by just over two seconds in the first varsity race to capture its 10th consecutive Callow Cup and swept all four races from Penn last season in Philadelphia, Pa.
The Last Time Out
Navy took two of five races from Harvard last Saturday, but came up short in its bid to recapture the Haines Trophy in the first varsity race. Competing side-by-side for much for much of the varsity eight race, it was Harvard that crossed the finish line first with a time of 5:53.0. Navy followed with a 5:54.2.
Navy's third varsity and second freshman boats both defeated Harvard.
