Navy was originally scheduled to play Army West Point on Friday, Oct. 2 at PPL Park in Chester, Pa., but the game was postponed to Tuesday, Nov. 3 due to storms in the area.
Navy's last contest was a 1-0 win over Loyola on Sept. 26. Freshman Daniel Kwon netted the game-winner in the 70th minute and Navy outshot Loyola, 15-3, to pick up three points in its Patriot League opener.
Kwon has scored in back-to-back games for the Mids. The Severna Park, Maryland native scored his first collegiate goal in the previous game against William & Mary and was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week for his efforts.
Senior captain Derek Vogel has a team-high seven points for Navy on two goals and three assists, while sophomore Aubrey Jones has scored a team-high three goals.
Senior goalkeeper Jackson Morgan has a 1.06 goals-against average and a .744 save percentage. Morgan has four shutouts this season and 12 for his career.
Morgan tops Navy's career record book for his current goals-against average of 0.74 and he also ranks fourth in program history with his 12 career shutouts.
Vogel is tied for sixth place in school history with his 14 career assists.
Although Navy has played one less conference game than the rest of the league, excluding Army West Point, Navy is just one point out of first place in the conference standings. The Mids have three points and trail Boston U., Lehigh and Holy Cross, who each have four points through two games.
Navy is 16-1-2 in Patriot League Regular Season matches over the last three years.
Lehigh enters Wednesday's contest at 1-1 in the Patriot League. The Mountain Hawks fell to Holy Cross, 1-0, in its opener and then defeated Colgate, 1-0, on Saturday. Jamie Luchini scored the game-winning goal against Colgate in the 57th minute.
