        ARLINGTON, Va. - The Georgetown women's tennis team (6-1) posted a 6-1 win        over Navy (8-4) on Thursday afternoon at the Arlington YMCA. Navy saw its three-match        winning streak come to an end.         
Georgetown won the doubles point by securing victories at the No. 1 and No. 3 slots.        Navy's duo of senior Noelle        Kaufmann and freshman Kristine        Rojo defeated Victoire Saperstein and Taylor Perz at No. 2 doubles, 8-3. Kaufmann and        Rojo improve to 5-1 as a doubles pairing this season.
        Georgetown won five of the six singles matches, including three in straight sets, to        take the team win.
        Navy junior Logan        Antill defeated Georgetown's Sophie Panarese at No. 2 singles, 7-5, 3-6, 6-2, for        Navy's lone singles win. Antill won her fourth dual match of the season.
        Navy lost a pair of three-set singles matches on Thursday. Junior Sam Droop        fell at No. 1 singles to Saperstein, 5-7, 6-3, 6-2, and freshman Amanda        Keller fell to Liselot Koenen at No. 4 singles, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.
        Georgetown evened the all-time series between the two schools at 1-1. Navy had defeated        Georgetown, 4-3, during the 2014 spring season.
        Navy will next host Rutgers on Sunday at 10 AM.
