ANNAPOLIS, Md. â€" The Navy men's soccer team (3-6-3, 0-3-1 PL) will look to remain unbeaten at home this season when hosting Bucknell (4-8-2, 1-2-1 PL) on Saturday at 7:00 PM at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility. There will be live statistics of the match and free live video with Joe Miller on the play-by-play. Saturday's game will feature a postgame Meet the Mids autograph session with the team.
Navy enters the match at 2-0-2 at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility this season and the team is playing in its third of four straight home games.
The Mids are coming off a 2-1 home victory over non-conference opponent Longwood on Tuesday evening.
Freshman Andrew Hopkins scored the game-winning goal in the 65th minute to break a 1-1 tie against Longwood. Hopkins scored on a header off a corner kick serve from senior Sam Bascom. Junior Brock Dudley scored the game's first goal in the 37th minute before Longwood drew even in the 57th.
Bascom leads Navy with six points this season on two goals and two assists. Junior goalkeeper Mac Burke ranks second in the Patriot League in goals-against average (1.02) and is second in save percentage (.794).
Dudley has started all 12 games for Navy and leads all field players with 1,148 minutes played this season. Freshman Diego Manrique is second with 1,111 minutes played.
Bascom enters Saturday's game with 70 career games played. His 71st career game will put him into a six-way tie for sixth place on Navy's all-time career games played list. He will be tied with Thomas Shiiba ('16), Derek Vogel ('16), Guy Skord ('14), Seth Walters ('95) and Jono Halverson ('93).
Bucknell is coming off a 7-0 drubbing of Howard on Tuesday evening. Bucknell turned a 3-0 lead to a 7-0 lead with four goals in a span of 3:05 from the 53rd to the 56th minute. Senior midfielder Sebastiaan Blickman tallied two goals and an assist while freshman midfielder Nick King had one goal and three assists against Howard.
Blickman ranks first in the Patriot League in total points with 17. Blickman has seven goals and three assists in 14 games. King leads the league with six assists.
Bucknell has used two freshman goalkeepers this season. Emmett Witmer is 3-4-1 with a 1.25 goals-against average and Tyler Marchiano is 1-4-0 with a 2.10 goals-against average.
Bucknell is 1-2-1 in Patriot League play. The Bison defeated Holy Cross (2-1), tied Boston U. (1-1), and lost to Lafayette (1-0) and Colgate (4-3; OT).
Bucknell sits in a tie for sixth place in the Patriot League with four points, while Navy is 10th with one point. Through four league games, Loyola is currently in first place with 10 points.
Navy holds a 24-12-4 lead in the all-time series against Bucknell. Navy gave up an own goal in a 1-0 loss to the Bison in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania last season. Prior to last season's loss, Navy was 3-0-2 in its last five games against Bucknell.
Navy will next host UMBC (4-4-3) in a non-conference match on Tuesday evening.

Parking / Shuttle Information
Fans are reminded that the general public does not have access to drive their vehicles on to the U.S. Naval Academy. Fans may park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for $5 and take a shuttle that will run every 10 minutes starting at 6:00 PM, one hour prior to the game and will continue running until one hour after the game is completed. Fans 18 and over need a government-issued photo ID. Enter Gate 5 off Taylor Ave. to park at the stadium. Dogs are not permitted inside the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.
