George Washington improves to 4-1 all-time against Navy.
"Give credit to GW," said Navy head coach Keith Puryear. "I thought they played a very good match today. They adjusted better to the conditions today. We struggled with our execution at some spots, but this match really could have gone either way. We must use this as feedback for what we must continue to focus on as we resume our Patriot League matches this weekend."
Navy will next resume Patriot League play by hosting Lehigh on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Navy was picked third in the league's preseason poll and Lehigh was picked fourth.
