March 25, 2016 ATLANTA, Ga. â€"â€" Navy's Tom Duvall (Sr., Durham, N.H.) continued his NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championship by placing 42nd in the trial heats of the 200 freestyle Friday in Georgia Tech's McAuley Aquatics Center in Atlanta. Duvall posted a time of 1:37.26 in the event.
"Tom put together a better race today than he did Thursday (in the 500 freestyle)," said Navy head coach Bill Roberts. "We're looking forward to seeing him finish strong Saturday in what has already been and will continue to be a fast meet in a great atmosphere."
Duvall will conclude the meet Saturday by competing in the 100 freestyle event. He enters the championship seeded 60th in the 100 free. Also in competition Saturday will be Navy's Joe Kaszubowski (Fr., Whitefish Bay, Wis.), who will take part in the platform diving event.
