Hanover, N.H. - Navy's squash season officially came to a close on Saturday when sophomore Jack Herold (Chicago, Ill.) and freshman Senen Ubina (Greenwich, Conn.) were eliminated from the College Squash Association Individual Championship.

Both members of the Molloy Division D bracket, Herold earned an 11-4, 11-7, 7-11, 11-5 victory over St. Lawrence senior Tim Lasusa in his opener on Friday afternoon before dropping an 8-11, 11-9, 4-11, 11-9, 11-5 decision to Franklin & Marshall's Sean Kenny.

Meanwhile, Ubina dropped a heart breaker to Denison rookie Ziad Elmandouh despite jumping out to a 2-0 lead (11-7, 11-6). Elmandouh recovered by winning the final three games, 11-8, 11-4, 12-10, to take the match, while Ubina fell to the consolation bracket. Ubina was eliminated on Saturday following an 11-7, 9-11, 11-3, 11-5 loss to Nku Patrick of Trinity.

"I'm disappointed for both Jack and Senen, but proud of both of them and what they achieved this season," said Navy head coach Craig Dawson. "Both of them had strong seasons."

The Mids closed out team competition a week ago at the CSA Team Championship played at Yale where they finished 14th. Navy finished the year with a 21-10 record, marking the 10th time in program history it reached the 20-win milestone.
