Aug. 25, 2016

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – A free video stream of Navy home football games will be available to active and reserve duty members of the armed forces during the 2016 season at NavySports.com, while the remainder of the public is able to purchase a subscription to access the stream of the CBS Sports Network’s telecast.

The CBS Sports Network will televise each of Navy’s five home games this season nationally. The channel is available in nearly 100 million homes nationwide on cable, satellite and video provider systems including Comcast, Time Warner Cable, DirecTV, Dish Network, Cablevision, Verizon FIOS, and more. Check sports tiers, as well as the digital basic package, for information on how to obtain the CBS Sports Network.

The network’s telecast of each of those games will be streamed on NavySports.com, with fans able to view the games on most computers and nearly every mobile device.

Active and reserve duty service members can obtain their free season-long password by completing the information form found at the following link. A working military e-mail address is required to obtain the complimentary access:

The deadline for military personnel to register for the complimentary account in time to view the Sept. 3 game against Fordham is 8 p.m. EDT on Thursday, Sept. 1. The user name and password for the season will be emailed to approved military personnel the afternoon of Friday, Sept. 2. Those personnel making requests after that time will not receive access to the stream of the game between the Mids and the Rams, but they will be approved to receive access for the remainder of the home slate starting with Navy's ensuing game airing on the CBS Sports Network (Sept. 10 vs. UConn).

Please note that the complimentary account will only be available for use Friday afternoon through Monday afternoon (East Coast times) on weekends of Navy home games. To view Navy football games or games from any other school outside of that three-day window, a subscription to College Sports Live must be purchased.

For all other fans, the online stream of the telecast of the five-game home slate can be accessed at NavySports.com by registering for either a one-month subscription of $9.95 (automatically recurring to a credit card) or a 12-month subscription of $99.95 (not recurring) to College Sports Live. Either subscription plan allows fans to view the video stream of any event produced by any of the over 100 schools in which CBS Interactive serves as the host provider for their web site. Subscribers also will be able to watch their selected event on nearly any computer or mobile device.
