LARCHMONT, N.Y. – Navy's offshore sailing team had two crews compete at the Storm Trysail Intercollegiate Regatta in Larchmont, N.Y., this past weekend.
In the J/44 class, the Midshipmen won the class beating out four teams, including a team from Army, after posting a score line of 1,1,2,1,4. The winning crew was captained by
George Davis and included
Matthew Signorelli,
Zackary Bauer,
Zachary Krause,
Jonathan Hitt,
Tom Hawkins,
Sean Caraher and Grace Vandegrift.
Navy also had a crew compete in the J/105 class, where it placed ninth out of 12 teams. The crew in the J/105 class included
George Hamilton, Cody Spedero, Phil Smith,
Don Poirier, Liz Hauschild and Connor Hallet.
Next up, the Midshipmen host the McMillan Cup and the Keelboat Invitational.
