The 34 seniors on the Navy football team received their Service Assignments this afternoon in ceremonies at the Naval Academy. Sixteen seniors will be commissioned 2nd Lieutenants in the United States Marine Corps (15 Marine Ground, 1 Marine Pilot), while 18 will be Ensigns in the United States Navy (12 Surface Warfare, three Navy Pilots, two intelligence and one supply).

Navy's senior class has compiled a record of 27-21 (.563) with three games remaining, have gone 3-4 against Air Force and Army with a game still left against Army, won the CIC Trophy in 2015, captured a share of the American Athletic Conference West Division title in 2015 and won the AAC West outright in 2016 and went 2-1 in bowl games with wins over Pitt and Virginia of the ACC.

The Mids will take on Tulsa on Senior Day on Saturday at 3:30 PM at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Navy has not lost on Senior Day since 2002. Tickets are still available by calling 1-800-US4-NAVY or at navysports.com.  Tickets will also be available on the day of the game at the box office located in the North end zone.
