"We had wet conditions during the practice round on Friday and the course dried up over the two days of competition," head coach Nadia Ste-Marie said after the tournament. "The girls hung in there today to finish the tournament strong and we had a much better round today than we had on Saturday. I am very proud of the way we played. We just have to continue playing the way we are playing and continue to make small improvements on the way."

McDonnell started the tournament a 1-over par 73 to lead Navy after the first day of competition. The sophomore followed with a 4-over par 76 in the second round. McDonnell led the Midshipmen with seven birdies in the tournament – four in the first round and three in the second.
