January is "Fanuary" at Navy Home Basketball Games

Navy basketball is excited to announce "Fanuary" during all 10 home games across men's and women's basketball in January. We want to reward our best and most loyal fans who support the programs the most and cheer the loudest. We want to give you an extra reason to attend every game! We have an exciting lineup of promotions and game day improvements listed below, including giveaway items at each game.
 
Fanuary Passport
All fans –– regardless of age –– are eligible to keep track of their January attendance with a Fanuary Passport. Stop by the Alumni Hall ticket office at your next game and register for a passport.  Then, stop by the ticket office at each ensuing game you attend to have it stamped. If you attend all 10 games in January you will receive a ticket to every home game in February free of charge. Attend at least 5 January games and you will receive tickets to a game of your choice in February.
 
Game Day Additions
We have made a number of additions to enhance your game day experience:

  • Kidshipmen Zone (concourse level near section X)
    • At all games, kids can stop by the new Kidshipmen Zone to make signs, fill out coloring pages, take a picture with Bill the Goat, do a Navy crossword puzzle, and more!
    • Face painters and caricature artists will be available at select games.
    • Is it your first time at Alumni Hall? Pick up a first game certificate to commemorate the occasion!
  • Winner every night
    • At every game during January, some fans will be going home with a package of tickets to the Jan. 25 Army-Navy doubleheader or some team-issued gear. Enter to win at the marketing table by the main entrance.
  • Bingo
    • Stay engaged with the game and learn a little more about basketball by playing Basketball Bingo at your seat during select games throughout the month.
  • Get your steps in
    • Pick up a walking tour of Alumni Hall on the marketing table at the main entrance and learn about the history of the building and some cool features.

We have put together an exciting lineup of promotions and giveaways to keep you entertained all month long:
Men's Basketball vs. Lehigh | Thursday, Jan. 2 | 7pm | Happy New Year

  • Celebrate the New Year and pick up a special Navy eye test chart poster for your 2020 "Navy vision."

Women's Basketball vs. Holy Cross | Saturday, Jan. 4 | 4pm | BOGO Day

  • BOGO tickets are available to all fans!
  • The first 75 fans will receive a 'Go Navy' scarf!

Women's Basketball vs. Bucknell | Wednesday, Jan. 8 | 7pm | Winter Luau

  • Think warm thoughts as we host a winter luau in Alumni Hall with special promotions and music during the game. Also, be one of the first 150 fans through the doors to receive a free lei!
  • Fans dressed in Hawaiian shirts will be entered to win some great prizes throughout the game!

Men's Basketball vs. Colgate | Saturday, Jan. 11 | 4pm | Mascot Mayhem

  • Bill the Goat is hosting a party for some of his closest mascot friends from around the area. They will all be in the crowd throughout the game.
  • Watch all of the mascots play basketball against each other on the court during halftime.
  • Be like Bill and grab a goat horns foam hat when you walk in before they run out!
  • All Naval Academy Faculty & Staff can receive 4 free tickets to the game by visiting the ticket office window at Ricketts Hall between Jan. 6 – 10 or by showing their staff ID at the ticket office window at Alumni Hall on the day of the game.
  • All Maryland State Employees can receive free admission to the game by showing their state employee ID at the ticket window at Alumni Hall on the day of the game.

Women's Basketball vs. Lehigh | Wednesday, Jan. 15 | 7pm | Local Heroes Night

  • Help us to celebrate our local heroes as all police and firefighters will receive free admission.

Men's Basketball vs. Lafayette | Saturday, Jan. 18 | 4pm | Meet the Mids

  • Stick around after the game to get autographs from the men's basketball team.
  • Pick up a foam Navy basketball when you walk in before they run out!
  • All Maryland high school boys basketball teams can receive free admission to the game. Submit rosters to spillman@usna.edu.

Women's Basketball vs. Boston University | Wednesday, January 22 | 7pm | We Back Pat

  • Help us raise awareness for Alzheimer's as "We Back Pat."
  • Be one of the first 100 fans and receive a free Navy Shaker Water Bottle.
  • All Annapolis City employees receive free admission.

Army Doubleheader | Saturday, January 25 | 11am – Women's / 1:30pm – Men's | Navy White Out

  • Match the team and WEAR WHITE to the game for the Navy White Out!
  • Stick around for two halftime performances by the Firecrackers Jump Rope team.
  • Be one of the first 4,000 fans in the door to grab a White Out Rally Towel/Pom-Pom.
  • The first 1,000 Midshipmen in the door receive a light up wand
  • During halftime of the women's game, Courtney Davidson's No. 21 jersey will be retired

Men's Basketball vs. Holy Cross | Wednesday, Jan. 29 | 7pm | Wayback Wednesday

  • Turn back the calendars with us as we look back at the 1980s during the first half and the 1990s/2000s during the second half featuring special promos and music.
  • Pick up a throwback koozie when you walk in before they run out!
