ANNAPOLIS, Md. – With rain and snow in the forecast throughout the day on Friday, Navy baseball's doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Holy Cross has been postponed until Monday afternoon. The doubleheader on Monday will begin at noon in Worcester, Mass.
Navy was originally scheduled to take on Holy Cross at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, but with rain in the forecast on Thursday night, followed by more rain and snow on Friday, the doubleheader has been shifted to Monday starting at noon.
The Midshipmen will still take on Army for two games on Sunday starting at noon in West Point N.Y.
Navy's four games over Sunday and Monday will start an eight-game road stretch for the Midshipmen.
First pitch for Navy's first Patriot League road weekend of the season is set for noon on Sunday afternoon against Army in West Point, N.Y. The Midshipmen will take on Holy Cross at noon Monday.
