The 18th-ranked Navy squash team (7-7) fell behind 2-0 in its match against Brown (2-3) on Tuesday afternoon and was unable to recover, as the #16 Bears dealt the Mids a 6-3 loss in what was Brown's first trip to Annapolis in 18 meetings.

Tommy Rankin). Rankin led 2-1 before Brown's Harrison Boyer rallied to win the final two games, 11-3, 11-3.

Jack Lentz (Jr / Philadelphia, Pa.) trimmed the deficit to one once again behind a spectacular match against Maximo Moyer. Lentz found himself in a 2-1 hole, but fought his way back into the match with back-to-back wins (11-7, 11-5) to take the 3-2 decision.
• Brown push its lead to 4-2 when Ahmed Amin came back from a 2-1 deficit and won the final two games (11-1, 11-8) to defeat
Ryan York (So / Hunt Valley, Md.) at #5. Navy, however, fought its way back when team captain
Michael Kacergis (Sr / Malvern, Pa.) scored a 3-0 sweep over Declan McCarthy at #3. That win was the Mids' last as Brown won the final two matches at #8 and #2.
• With
Michael Kacergis' win, he took sole possession of 25th on Navy's all-time wins list with his 56th of his career.
• The series between Navy and Brown is now even at nine wins apiece, while the Brown victory snapped a four-match losing sked against the Mids.
