ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The annual baseball Freedom Classic between Navy and Air Force in Kinston, N.C., has been condensed to Saturday and Sunday at Historic Grainger Stadium with snow forecasted in Kinston on Thursday night into Friday morning.
 
The three-game series is now slated for a doubleheader on Saturday followed by a single game on Sunday.
 
Navy and Air Force were originally slated to play one game on Friday, Saturday and Sunday but Kinston is currently forecasted to receive three to five inches of snow throughout the night with near-freezing temperatures slated for Friday evening. 
 
The 2020 Freedom Classic is set to be the 10th installment of the event. During the 2019 Freedom Classic, the Midshipmen took the opening game of the series against Air Force, 2-1, but the Falcons rallied to win the series, after sweeping a Sunday doubleheader, 6-4 and 7-2.
