PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Tickets for the Army-Navy Baseball Star Series on April 10 and 11 at Citizens Bank Park are now on sale through the Philadelphia Phillies.
The three-game series is scheduled to begin on Friday, April 10 with one game starting at 7 p.m. The series concludes on Saturday, April 11 with a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
Tickets for each day are $10 and the Phillies are offering a two-day pack for $15. Navy fans are encouraged to select seating behind the Navy dugout in sections 129 to 135. The Army-Navy series at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia is one of 24 events in the Army-Navy Star Series, presented by USAA. The winner of the three-game series earns the baseball Star. Navy currently holds an 8-3-1 lead over Army in the series this year.
Philadelphia is set to become the fifth different neutral site location to host an Army-Navy baseball game and Citizens Bank Park is set to be the third different Major League Baseball stadium to host Army-Navy on the diamond. Orioles Park at Camden Yards hosted Army-Navy in 2006 and 2018 while Fenway Park hosted an Army-Navy contest during the 2018 season. Among other neutral site locations, Army and Navy have met on the diamond in Easton, Pa., and Millington, Tenn. In neutral site affairs, the Midshipmen hold a record of 11-6 over the Black Knights. In the all-time series between Army and Navy, which dates back to 1901, the Midshipmen lead the series, 126-118.
The City of Philadelphia is now scheduled to host three Army-Navy events during the 2019-20 season. Men's soccer was played at Talen Energy Stadium in October and the Army-Navy football game took place at Lincoln Financial Field in December.
Navy begins its 2020 campaign next week with a three-game series against Georgetown at Finch Field in Thomasville, N.C.
