The evening edition of our Sunday Salute continues with the five members of the wrestling team who qualified and one additional member who was selected as an alternate for the 2020 NCAA Championships and were unable to compete after the competition was canceled due to the coronavirus. Here is a closer look at each of those wrestlers.
 
Casey Cobb

• Qualified for the 2020 NCAA Championships by receiving an at-large bid
• First-time NCAA qualifier
• 17-13 record on the year // 4-6 dual
• Placed fourth at EIWA Championship, first at All-Academy Championship, eighth at Southern Scuffle
 
Cody Trybus
Class – Junior
Hometown – Elkton, Md.

• Qualified for the 2020 NCAA Championships by winning the EIWA title at 141 pounds
• Navy's 106th conference champion and the first at 141 pounds since 2002 (Mark Conley)
• First-time NCAA qualifier
• 25-9 record on the year // 9-5 dual
• Led the team in wins, reaching the 20-win milestone for the first time in his career
• Closed out the year on a nine-match winning streak
• Placed first at EIWA Championship, first at All-Academy Championship, first at Shorty Hitchcock Memorial
 
Jared Prince
