ANNAPOLIS, Md.—Navy senior cornerback Michael McMorris has been selected to play in the FBS All Americans Tropical Bowl, which will take place on Saturday, Jan. 15 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. McMorris is the third Navy player to be selected for the game joining Peter Nestrowitz (2020) and Quincy Adams (2015).
 
McMorris finished tied for fourth on the team in tackles with 50 and was tied for second in the country in forced fumbles with five.  McMorris also recorded three tackles for a loss, two sacks, blocked a punt and broke up a team-best six passes.
 
McMorris is the third Navy player to be invited to an all-star game.  Senior linebacker Diego Fagot will play in the East-West Shrine game on Feb. 3 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev. while senior wide receiver Mychal Cooper will play in the NFL Players Association Collegiate Bowl on Jan. 29 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.
