What do you want to do after graduation and why?  Looking to be a Navy Pilot or in the Marine Corps. Either of these I would enjoy because both would be hands-on learning and with the Marine Corps I would really get to embody being a leader.

Why did you choose Navy?  When I came on my recruiting visit, it felt just like home. Everyone was so welcoming and it felt like a real family. Talked to a lot of people on the Yard and made me feel like I could be a part of something special.

What would you tell somebody that is considering coming to Navy to play football?  I would tell them to be ready for things not to go the way you want it. Be ready to work through a lot of adversity from the start, but to be excited about it. The amount of personal and physical growth that will come out of being a football player at the Academy is incredible.

If you could play another position, what position would you play and why? I would play quarterback, especially in an offense like ours. You get to control everything and make certain reads and checks to change the play. It would be just like playing MLB.

If you could choose any opponent for Navy to play that is currently not on the schedule who would you choose and why? I would choose Oklahoma because they are a very good team and a lot of people I know go to the school. Along with that, it isn't far from home so a lot of friends and family would be able to be at the game.

Favorite class at the Naval Academy and why?  I enjoyed leadership because it made me look at different things in different ways. I learned some things about myself that I wasn't sure about.

Hardest class at the Naval Academy and why?  Cyber is my hardest class because there is a lot of information that you need to remember, which is very hard in a subject that is very important and new.

Favorite teacher at the Naval Academy and why? LT Legler is my favorite teacher because she wanted to get to know me as a person. I had some problems come up during the year and she was there to help me out the entire way. Even after I got out of her class, we still kept in contact.

Favorite form of social media and why?  Twitter. This is my favorite because I can find information on sports. Along with that, it really gives me a good laugh.

Favorite person to follow on social media and why?  Demario Davis, who is the linebacker for the New Orleans Saints. He is a God fearing man and a family man. He is not afraid to put forth his faith and his family. Even though he is a big time player, you cannot tell that from his social media page.

Favorite sport to follow at the Naval Academy outside of football and why?  Baseball, because I have a lot of friends who play it and they are in my company so I'm always talking with them about it.

If you didn't play football at Navy, what sport would you play and why?  I would play baseball. I only played one year in high school because I wanted to really focus on football. I love the game of baseball and would love to play again.

If you had to be quarantined with four people associated with Navy Football, who would you choose and why? Jacob Busic, Aka Kapono, Max Meeuwsen and Eavan Gibbons. I would choose these guys because they are some of my best friends and we would have a fun time together laughing and making the most of our time in quarantine.

What song is playing on your headphones in the locker room right before taking the field?  Dreams and Nightmares by Meek Mill

What is your dream vacation?  On an island somewhere, staying in a beach house with a bunch of friends where we could play sports, ride a boat, or jet skis and just relax

How many teams should make the FBS Playoffs?  8

What is the best thing about being in the American Athletic Conference? That every team in the AAC is tough competition. You never know who will win each game. You have to come out ready to play every game.

Favorite Coach Niumatalolo quote:  We are not the biggest, we don't have the best players, but our work ethic and elite effort will give us a chance.

One word to describe a Navy Football player: Tenacious

Who will be the surprise player on defense in 2021 and why? Jacob Busic, because he is going to make plays for us.

Who is the toughest player on the Navy football team and why? Diego Fagot, because he is one of the hardest workers on the team. Throw anyone up against him and he will find a way to win.

What player epitomizes Navy Football and why?  Diego Fagot, just like I said above about being the toughest player and always finding a way to win. He has the grit that we need to  beat other teams. Anything that comes his way he is ready to take on. That's what being a Navy Football player is all about, being the hardest working and toughest guy out there on the field with everything you do.

Who will be the Most Valuable Player on offense in 2021 and why?  Tai Lavatai, because he is going to come out and continue to compete at quarterback and make a name for himself by taking control of the offense and helping us get some key victories.

Who will be the Most Valuable Player on defense in 2021 and why? Diego Fagot, because he is going to come out playing the best he ever has.

What was the biggest lesson you learned during COVID-19? Whatever comes your way you just have to jump on the train and continue to work as hard as you can no matter the circumstances.

What are you most looking forward to in 2021 now that things are back to "normal"? I am excited to feel the fans in the stadium. I say feel because it makes a difference when they are there and when a big play is made and a roar comes from the stadium you feel that and it gives you energy.
