ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy women's tennis program released its 2021 fall schedule Wednesday, including three tournaments hosted by the Mids.

"After not having competition last fall, we are looking forward to being able to compete," remarked head coach Keith Puryear. "We plan to host our usual Bill & Sandra and Blue & Gold Invitationals which always present challenges with the level of teams who participate."
 
"This year however, we are also hosting our newly formatted regional championship along with a trip to the Elon Invitational and Veteran's Classic. Coach Ale and I are looking forward to seeing the team perform. The challenges we will face from our fall competition will be great feedback to spur our growth and improvement."
 
Navy gets its fall slate underway by hosting the Bill & Sandra Moore Invitational, September 9-12, before travelling to participate in the Elon Invitational in Elon, N.C. from September 17-19. Other members of the team will play in the Milwaukee Tennis Classic in Milwaukee, Wis.
 
The Mids fall schedule continues by hosting the ITA/USTA Atlantic Region Championships October 1-4 prior and the Navy Blue & Gold Invitational October 8-10.
 
Navy concludes the fall portion of its 2021-22 schedule by travelling to take part in the Veteran's Classic hosted in San Diego, Calif. slated for November 5-7.
 
The spring portion of the Mids 2021-22 schedule will be announced at a later date.
 
Navy  finished last season as the runner-up in the Patriot League Tournament along with tallying a 7-4 overall record.
