Rifle Announces Class of 2025

Head coach Mike Anti and the Navy rifle program announced the addition of four student-athletes for the 2021-22 season.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Head coach Mike Anti and the Navy rifle program announced the addition of four student-athletes for the 2021-22 season.
 
"We are very excited about our incoming class," said Anti. "All four newcomers in the Class of 2025 have outstanding athletic and academic resumes along with having experience at the highest junior level. I anticipate all of them will have a positive impact on the team for the next four years. They are extremely motivated and cannot wait for the season to get underway."
 
Marleigh Duncan I Wake Forest, N.C. I Franklin Academy
Competed in the National Junior Olympics for six years … Placed third air rifle at 2016 Junior Olympics … Recorded a third-place finish in small bore at the National Junior Olympics as a freshman … Finished second in age group at the 2019 National Junior Olympics in small bore … Served as a club team captain as a junior and senior … Daughter of Bridget-Lee Young and Marc Duncan … Placed top-10 at districts as a member of the DECA team at the Franklin Academy.
 
Stephanie Milvain I Matthews, N.C. I Greyfriars Classical Academy
Placed second at the North Carolina State Women's Junior Olympic qualifier as a junior … Recorded a first-place finish at the American Legion State Championships as a senior as an individual competitor … Was a competitive pianist for 10 years … Attended the Greyfriars Classical Academy … Daughter of Jennifer and Nigel Milvain.

Navy is set to open its 2021-22 season Saturday, September 25 when it welcomes TCU and VMI to the Bancroft Hall Rifle Range for a tri-match slated to begin at 9 a.m.
