ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Navy volleyball team will close its regular season Sunday when the Mids (14-10, 11-4) play host to Bucknell (7-8, 14-10) in a 4 p.m. match in the Wesley A. Brown Field House.

Playoff Information
Navy entered the final weekend of the season as the only team that had its playoff seed set in concrete. The Mids have been slated as the No. 3 seed in the six-team postseason tournament since they swept Lafayette last Saturday afternoon.
The remainder of the field has since been firmed up.
Colgate and Army both won matches Saturday to end the year tied atop the regular season standings with identical 14-2 records in league play. The Raiders will be the No. 1 seed and the Black Knights will be the No. 2 seed due to Colgate having a better head-to-head set record in matches played between the teams. Colgate defeated Army in a 3-0 match and the Black Knights defeated the Raiders in a 3-1 decision.
Each of those two teams receives a quarterfinal round bye. Colgate, as the No. 1 seed, will play host to the tournament semifinals and final on Nov. 19-20.
Loyola lost its third match in a row on Saturday to end the regular season with an 8-8 record. The Greyhounds will play host to Bucknell even if the Bison defeat the Mids to tie Loyola. This is due to the Greyhounds earning a win over second-place Army earlier this fall (Loyola and Bucknell split the regular season series with each winning a four-set match, and each team lost two matches to No. 1 Colgate).
American has won its last three matches to end the regular season with a 7-9 record and garner the No. 6 seed in the tournament. The Eagles will travel to Annapolis Tuesday for a 7 p.m. quarterfinal round match. A Navy win over Bucknell would drop it into a tie with American, but the Bison defeated the Eagles twice this fall.
Navy vs. Bucknell
Navy edged Bucknell in five sets earlier this season. The Mids defeated the Bison, 25-11, 30-32, 12-25, 25-15, 21-19.
Navy registered statistical advantages of 70-54 in kill, .216-.126 in hitting percentage and 17-5 in blocks. The Mids were held back by committing 17 service errors (the Bison had five).
Jordan Llewellyn (Jr., Port Deposit, Md.) tallied 24 kills and a .413 attack percentage to leads the Mids. She also snared 14 digs, which ranked second on the team to the 23 hauled in by
Hannah Hoover (So., Katy, Texas).
Bucknell's Catherine Jamison tallied 16 kills and teammate Jordan Hardy grabbed 29 digs.
Navy Last Week
Navy won a pair of matches in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley last weekend. The Mids opened the weekend with a five-set win at Lehigh (18-25, 25-17, 22-25, 25-23, 16-14). Navy overcame a 14-11 deficit in the fifth set to earn the win.
Less than 24 hours later, Navy topped Lafayette, 25-23, 25-19, 26-24.
Senior Day
Prior to the start of Sunday's match, Navy will recognize the team's lone senior,
Celie Feighery (Sr., Oak Hill, Va.). This year's team captain has dished out 543 assists in her career and totaled 224 career digs. She has appeared in 65 matches and 190 sets during her four years.
