LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Navy offshore sailing team competed in its second event of its spring schedule over the weekend, tallying a fourth-place finish at the Harbor Cup hosted by Cal Maritime in Los Angeles, Calif.
Over the three-day event, the Mids recorded four second-place finishes, but ultimately fell short of first-place Cal Maritime (26 points), who was followed by Hawai'i (39 points) and Cal Santa Barbara (41 points) to round out the top-three teams ahead of Navy (44 points).
Finishing behind the Mids were Rhode Island (50 points), Mass Maritime (59 points), Coast Guard (60 points), Charleston (61 points), Cal Poly (71 points) and Maryland (96 points), respectively.
