BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Navy men's soccer team had nine individuals honored on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Tuesday.
Collin Armstrong (Sr., Vestavia, Ala.),
Cristian Coelho (So., Katy, Texas),
Sam Kriel (Jr., Severna Park, Md.),
Matt Nocita (Sr., Porter Ranch, Calif.),
Luke O'Hara (Jr., Lagrange, Ky.),
Ryan Teuschl (Sr., Oakton, Va.),
Tait Thorne (Jr., Lutherville, Md.),
JD Wagner (Jr., Medford Lakes, N.J.) and
Connor Walcott (Fr., Laguna Niguel, Calif.) all earned the league award.
In addition to Kriel and Walcott garnering the academic recognition for the first time in their career, Armstrong, Coelho and Wagner added the academic recognition for the second time while Nocita, O'Hara and Thorne were honored for the third-straight season.
Teuschl, who earned his fourth-career Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection, finished the fall semester with a 4.0 grade-point average, being one of only 12 Patriot League men's soccer players to accomplish that mark.
Throughout the Patriot League, 142 men's soccer student-athletes were named to the Academic Honor Roll.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester.
